--- --Terra Acerbus Press (T.A.P.) is dedicated to the pursuit of expression in all its various forms. People convey their thoughts in a variety of approaches, and we at T.A.P. are interested in the relationship between people, their thoughts, and the mode their impressions are conceived through. T.A.P. is the proverbial jack-of-all-trade. Whether the issue of not possessing the mastery of just one skill is such a drawback for us has not been determined. For us it is this wide range of interests that helps us find the underlying meaning in creativity, and perfect our personal voice. Our desire is not solely to unfold an intriguing tale, or present an aesthetic image (though there are times when the simplicity of beauty is all that is needed to produce a sense of awe and balance in our ephemeral emotional states), but to seek for the common bond that threads through all human beings. What appeals to us are the joys we (as people) experience, and the struggles we endure. We examine the trials we overcome, and the trials that beat us down. We scrutinize the revelations we discover, whether big or small, true or false. To put it simply ( it's probably to late for that by now) we are interested in what it means to be human in the twenty-first century, while still trying to understand the aspects of humanity in the centuries that have passed. It is our desires, religious beliefs, political alignments, to the things we detest ( and everything in between) that defines who we are. Does our definition contain the keys or the clues to help us ( collectively ) answer all the questions that start with "why"? Questions such as : Why do we hate? Why do we need to love ( especially in situations where it causes us more harm ) ? Why do we choose violence as an acceptable form of communication? Why is it so hard to trust anyone in today's world? Why do we allow society to dictate what is an acceptable choice to make? At times "why" can drive us forward or holds us back . Still, for some "why" is the reason for their quests, their journeys, or the meaning in their existence. "Why" being a means to an end, where the end becomes the truth. However, the truth is only the beginning. We feel the truth is coiled within these questions we ask ourselves. The truth as grand and ambitious an endeavor to pursue is what helps us find meaning and reason for life.

------Artistic synergy is what drives T.A.P. in its creative pursuits. For us it is the journey forward that interests us more than the final destination. We understand that when it comes down to it, it is the examination and digestion of the experiences from our journeys that prepare us for the next expedition. It is along the voyage, as we collate, comprehend, and formulate more questions, we discover more pieces to the answer. Whether we are ready to accept what we discover is going to be the bigger question.
